Artistic Director
Izzy Parriss is a theatre director working across new writing and reimagined classics, with a focus on emotionally rich contemporary storytelling and the political psychology that pulses beneath intimate relationships.
As Artistic Director of Izzy Parriss Productions, she has directed After Sex by Siofra Dromgoole (Arcola Theatre) and How to Bury Imogen, the darkly comic theatrical debut of BAFTA winner Yasmin Afifi (Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath).
Earlier directing work includes her Fringe debut Dear Little Loz by Lauren Nicole Mayes, contributions to the Bomb Factory Theatre Festival of New Writing, and numerous short plays and new writing workshops for Theatre503, Omnibus Theatre and others.
Izzy’s associate and assistant directing credits include Hedda (dir. Matthew Dunster), The Rover (dir. Benedict Esdale), The Man of Mode (dir. Lindsay Posner), a workshop of Ordinary World (dir. Edward Hall), and extensive collaboration with playwright/director Philippa Lawford at Park Theatre, VAULT Festival and on tour. She is also Associate Director at Tightrope Theatre and a Collaborator at Modern Collective.

Company Associate Director
Philippa Lawford (she/her) is a writer-director from London. Her debut play, Ikaria, won a runner-up award from the ATG Playwrights’ Prize and an OFFIE Short Run Commendation, and was named no. 2 on Broadway World’s list of Best Theatre of 2022. Ikaria toured the UK in 2023, culminating in an acclaimed run at the Park Theatre, where it was nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Ikaria was produced by Philippa's company, Tightrope Theatre, and was published by Methuen Drama. Philippa's second play, Cold Water, was staged by Tightrope at the Park Theatre in May 2024, and by Little Engine Theater in New York in March 2025. Cold Water was also published by Methuen.
Philippa also works as an associate/assistant director and reader. She was a member of Marylebone Theatre’s Emerging Writers’ group and is currently part of Soho Theatre’s Studio Writers’ group, and she has read for the Finborough and the ETPEP award. Philippa also co-runs Offshoots, a regular scratch night in London, and the Clonterbrook Arts Residency in Cheshire. Philippa is a dual UK/US citizen and has worked at Chicago Shakespeare Theater as a trainee director. Philippa is represented as a playwright by Julia Tyrrell Management.

Jada Giwa (she/her) is a London born photographer currently living in Manchester. She’s inspired by people and enjoys creating images that tell a story and evoke a feeling from the different characters she comes across through casting, styling and composition. As collaboration is at the heart of what she does, she enjoys living in Manchester where there is a huge sense of community, this allows her to celebrate many unique individuals through her work and collaborate with many other talented female creatives.
She is currently working as a freelance photographer and has worked for numerous brands and companies including H&M, Size?, Avant Arte and Season Zine.
